Hey there again

I can't believe that I've been ignoring my blog for so long! Sorry about that :)
I wrote another song! It currently has no name. It's a Christian song. I think it may be one of my best ones yet. I'm kinda proud! haha
So, tell me, does anyone really read this???? Probably not! haha.
But, whoever does read this, I need your help!

I Love You

I wrote this lame song for my Bible class. I had to write a song about beauty. I wasn't sure how the song was going to play out but then a certain someone crossed my mind and the words just flowed out of my heart easily. I know I could never publish this song, due to the fact I would be sued for copyright. The song is to the tune of Taylor Swift's 'Cold As You'.  Even though I changed most the words and the meaning entirely, it is still too much like the original song. *DISCLAIMER* This song tune and melody and most of it's lyrics belong to Taylor Swift, Jordan Thornton only changed most the words and meaning. Thanks for reading, whoever you are.

Guardian Angel

So, I wrote this song for my sister Jocelyn, because she inspires me. I love her with all my heart. P.S. I worte this at like Midnight while crying, so have mercy.

She whispers words of hope, tells tale of what is true, she always makes me smile when she say ‘I love you’. She never gives up, she won’t lose the fight, for I know no matter what, she’s standing for the right. She comforts me and guides me, every single day. I know she’s always watching, listening to what I say.

Oh I pray, she’ll stay with me forever. Oh, I wish she wouldn’t go away. This beautiful angel, that’s here in my heart, if only she knew it’s been that way from the start. But now she’s gone and left me, here all alone, and the experience has taught me to have a heart of stone. Now I know I will not break, I’ll get back up again, this time my heart won’t break... And it’s all thanks to my guardian angel… 

She sings sweet songs of love, and cares for all she meets. She would quickly take you in if you were out on the street. She has an air about her, that entrances all around. And when starts to laugh, people stop to hear the sound. She has determination and it makes me want to be, just like my angel, whom always seems carefree.

My First Blog

To me, this seemed like a good way to express what I'm feeling instead of just holding it up inside. So, first off let me introduce myself, my name is Jordan Carin Thornton, I am 14, I have 3 sisters, and one brother, I am also the youngest. It's my 11th year attending Wichita Christian School and I am currently a freshman in high school. I never act as young as I am and people judge and sometimes ridicule me for it. Pain is no stranger to me, but I am hoping that suffering through the hard times will prove to have some promising rewards. My parents divorced a few weeks after I turned 4 and my mother now lives in Indiana. My dad lives in Texas with his new wife Sandy, my step-mother, and Alex(step-sister,15), Savannah(step-sister,19), Joshua(brother,16), and I. My sister Jocelyn(18) Just moved to Dallas to start college at D.B.U, I miss her terribly. I have no real talents except for my voice. I love to sing. I just started writing songs and I hope to continue. There are so many talented people out there that have inspired me in my journey of becoming a singer. I have high goals for myself when it comes to my future. I want to go to Julliard Musical Conservatory of New York City and major in singing and minor in dance. From then, I plan to become a singer, and,with luck, become famous. The first actual song I've ever written is called 'Guardian Angel'. I wrote it the summer before Jocelyn left, I am very close to her and was extremely sad when she left. Okay, now that I've introduced myself thoroughly, let's get blogging.
